Kelly Akins

LSCSW, LCSW

As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, I believe that taking the leap to pursue therapy is an act of courage, and I am here to support my clients throughout their journey. With over ten years of experience in the medical setting, I have had the privilege of assisting children, adolescents, and families, which has shaped my passion for helping teens, young adults, families, and young children in partnership with their caregivers.

My goal is to create a safe, comforting space where my clients can feel heard and understood. I approach therapy with empathy and non-judgment, recognizing that each individual's experience is unique. By working collaboratively with my clients and their caregivers, I aim to help them reach their goals and navigate the challenges they may encounter.

I am committed to ongoing learning and professional growth to ensure that I provide the best possible care. As a therapist, I believe in the power of a holistic approach, considering not just the individual but also their support system and environment.

I am excited to be part of this therapeutic journey, and I look forward to making a positive impact in the lives of those I work with.
