You are looking for a therapist because you are ready to address life problems, change patterns, or just simply feel better. It has been said that
“At the center of your being, you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you need”. I am here to help you find your answers which may be buried under old beliefs and hidden behind difficult emotions.
In addition to my formal training as a psychotherapist, my past roles of doula, lactation counselor, and advocate for survivors of domestic and sexual violence have provided me with both the insight and skills to compassionately support individuals, couples, and families in navigating life transitions and challenges such as relational trauma, infertility, new parenthood, grief, and loss (including divorce, empty-nest, job loss, moves, etc.). I will walk beside you and hold space for you non-judgmentally as you reclaim hope. We will use a variety of evidence-based modalities to help you manage adverse emotions such as anxiety, depression, and anger, as well as to communicate your needs and emotions effectively. Through our work, you will be better equipped to cope with the challenges in your life and find greater joy and inner peace.
