Michael Martinez
Intern
Seeing a therapist is a time of personal growth in one's life and the beginning of a journey towards mental wellness. Everyone deserves to be heard and valued, no matter how different you are from your surroundings. I am dedicated to creating a safe space for clients that will enable them to explore life challenges, build self efficacy, and eventually achieve viable change that is maintainable in their individual lives. There are times people feel like they have no control over their emotions, thoughts, and actions. I want to empower clients with what they need to respond and interpret things in their environment and encourage the client to feel like they can reach their goals. I will provide an integrative approach that combines evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Existential Therapy, Psychotherapy, and mindfulness techniques for each client’s unique needs. I am committed to fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, valued, and motivated to reach their full potential. I strive to inspire resilience and positive transformation in every session
