Natasha Komperud
Intern
Therapy can feel incredibly vulnerable, which is why I approach each client with unconditional positive regard and work towards reigniting hope. Hope can feel like it is in short supply at times, and it is my goal to build up, encourage, and discover the resilience that exists in each person. I also hold true that by understanding the context of an issue, we can truly move towards change. My mission is to be that one person who will not judge, or treat anyone as less than for their struggles, as nothing can be solved in life by passing judgment or placing blame. I am excited to work with a variety of individuals and discover what makes each person unique. Within the therapy room I employ a systemic perspective based on the idea that every relationship impacts the way an individual functions and behaves. I understand the vulnerability and, often, anxiety associated with therapy and am honored to learn more about and work with each individual client!
