It is my belief that as humans our greatest desires are to feel heard, understood and accepted. Making the decision to reach out for mental health help can be a daunting task. So, when a client enters the therapeutic space, it is my goal to help them feel a sense of connection and validation of their experience while pursuing the change they seek. It is my hope to foster an atmosphere where individuals, couples and families can feel safe as they grow to know themselves and each other at a deeper level. My approach in therapy centers on how we can view our sense of self with an increasing measure of compassion and acceptance for where we are in life now, while challenging unhelpful ideas or behaviors that are keeping us stuck. It is my hope that you leave therapy feeling empowered to continue making the changes you desire so you can engage in living life the way you want to.
