Navigating life during these trying times can be challenging for us all—but especially for teens and young adults with limited control over their own lives. Adolescence comes with a variety of life transitions which can trigger symptoms of anxiety, depression, and unhealthy coping. It takes courage and strength to seek assistance and be vulnerable during those times.
I am passionate about serving youth and young adults who are trying to navigate the challenges life brings. I help clients gain new perspectives and skills, while empowering them to find their own voice. As a Registered Play Therapist™, I integrate play-based interventions—including games, toys, and art—to foster a safe and engaging environment to explore challenges and build trust. I am also EMDR Level 1 trained, allowing me to support clients in processing trauma and distress through a structured, evidence-based approach.
I often say, “choose happiness,” because I believe we have the ability to empower ourselves—even in the most difficult situations.
