Navigating life during these trying times can be challenging for us all but especially teens and young adults with limited control over their own lives. Adolescence comes with a variety of life transitions which can trigger symptoms of anxiety, depression and unhealthy coping. It takes courage and strength to seek assistance and be vulnerable during those times. I am passionate about serving youth & young adults who are trying to navigate the challenges life brings. I am able to serve these populations by providing them with the tools needed to gain new perspectives and skills while empowering them to find their own voice. As an aspiring play therapist, I incorporate activities such as games, toys, and art to foster a safe and playful environment to explore challenges and build rapport. I often say “choose happiness” as I believe that we have the ability to empower ourselves through difficult situations.
